Stroke

Supporting stroke patients with their rehabilitation.

A stroke occurs when the blood supply carrying nutrients and oxygen to the brain is restricted or cut off. This can be caused by a blood clot or a weakened blood vessel bursting.

There are many outcomes to a stroke, including the possibility of permanent brain injury and disability. Some strokes are mild, while others are more severe. We know that when this happens, it can feel scary and disorientating for you as the patient and for your loved ones.

We specialise in creating an effective treatment plan to support you with your rehabilitation. You may need to relearn life skills so you can return to living independently in your own home. Or you may need long-term support to complete care tasks in your home, such as washing and dressing yourself.
