Mr Jacek WaronskiMBBS CCST MD | GMC Number: 6111097

Mr Waronski is a consultant obstetrician/gynaecologist and joined the Medical Specialist Group in July 2016, prior to which he worked for the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust at the William Harvey Hospital ion Ashford, Kent.

He graduated from the Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland, in 1986 and then in 1994 qualified as a specialist in obstetrics & gynaecology at the Medical Centre of Post-Graduate Studies in Warsaw, Poland.

Mr Waronski moved to the UK in 2004 and worked as a locum in Eastbourne, Margate and Shrewsbury before securing a permanent position at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

His 22 years of experience as an obstetrics specialist have enabled the MSG to acquire the services of a consultant who has worked at the highest level in busy, high-risk feto-maternal units, carrying out instrumental deliveries including ventouse and rotational forceps and twin, breech and Caesarean deliveries (the William Harvey Hospital has around 4000 deliveries a year).

Similarly as a gynaecology specialist he has performed hundreds of abdominal, laparoscopic and vaginal procedures (including hysterectomy and pelvic floor repair) and diagnostic and operative laparoscopies (including oophorectomies, salpingectomies, adhesiolysis and the treatment of minimal to moderate endometriosis).

Mr Waronski has a special interest in operative hysteroscopy and the use of the resectoscope to carry out resection of polyps, fibroids and endometrium and also treating uterine septa and intra-uterine adhesions.
