Our Child health and wellbeing assessment is designed to provide a thorough evaluation of your child’s physical, emotional, and developmental health, helping to ensure they thrive at every stage. We also focus on preventative care so whether you have a specific concern or just want peace of mind, we’re here to help.  

What is a Child health and wellbeing assessment? 

The assessment is a holistic review that looks at your child’s: 

• Physical health – growth, nutrition, sleep, and any ongoing health concerns
• Developmental milestones – including motor skills, language, and learning 
• Emotional and social wellbeing – including behaviour, mood, and family or school-related challenges 

Who is it for?

The assessment can be carried out on any child under 18 years of age.

What’s included?  

• A consultation with a consultant paediatrician to discuss your child’s health and concerns, if any
• Observations tailored to your child’s age and needs 
• Feedback and recommendations, including onward referrals if necessary 
• A detailed personalised report  

Can I book my child in for this myself or do I need a professional referral?

You can book an assessment for your child yourself without a referral from a healthcare professional.

What is the cost? 

This service costs £395. It is not covered by the States’ contract and therefore must be covered by you or your health insurer. Always check with your health insurer first whether your policy covers this treatment and obtain a pre-authorisation code.
