Chief Operations Officer joins the Medical Specialist Group

An operations expert whose wide-ranging career includes pharmaceutical manufacturing and consumer goods in Guernsey, Asia and Australia and leadership roles at Moonpig and Rubis has joined the MSG as Chief Operations Officer. 

Alan Rimington, who started on 10 February, will be responsible for the day to day running of the MSG, working closely with the Management Board, Partners, and senior leadership team to ensure the MSG continues to deliver high quality specialist healthcare services.

The Group is also in the process of recruiting a Chief Executive Officer, following the departure of former Chief Executive Jon Buckland in 2024.
