She undertook her training on island and at Portsmouth University, going onto work at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital on Brock ward as a medical nurse for 16 years and 6 months in the Haemodialysis unit.
Marie-Francoise has nursing knowledge in many areas including stroke, medical infectious diseases, sexual health, health promotion, wound care and post-surgery care, with special interests in female health and fertility.
She finds the most fulfilling aspect of her role is being there for the patient, empathising with them and treating them holistically.
In her own time, Marie-Francoise enjoys reading, boxing, being by the sea and exploring different cultures.
