Marianne joined the MSG in 2021, bringing with her more than 10 years of experience as an ophthalmic technician. 

Marianne takes great interest in the technical aspects of the equipment used in eye examinations and is passionate about providing the highest standard of care, particularly during visual field tests, which many patients find challenging. She strives to make her patients feel at ease and ensures they receive personalised, compassionate care. 

Originally from Denmark, Marianne is enthusiastic about anything Scandinavian, including Hygge which is very Nordic. Outside of work you will often find her near a cricket pitch either playing for the national women’s team, coaching or watching her family play. She also enjoys anything outdoors in Guernsey from stormy winter walks on the sandy beaches, cycling up the Val de Terres for fun or swimming in the sea around the island.
