Kim is a passionate and skilled ophthalmic practitioner who thrives on delivering excellent patient care.
Since 2023, Kim has worked part-time at the MSG as the first Extended Scope Practitioner, specialising in intravitreal injections. She completed her intravitreal injection training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK, one of the world’s leading centres for eye care.
In her role Kim independently treats patients with retinal conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, using her advanced training and steady technique to deliver safe, precise injections that protect and preserve vision.
Alongside her work at the MSG, Kim has been a dedicated member of the team at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital for over 25 years. She currently works as the Team Leader for Ophthalmology in theatres where she plays a central role in ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely for both patients and staff. Known for her calm leadership style and strong clinical knowledge, Kim supports her team in delivering smooth, safe, efficient and high-quality care for all Ophthalmic procedures.
Kim loves working with patients and takes pride in creating a warm, reassuring environment- whether in the operating theatre or the injection clinic. She’s committed to continuous learning and professional development and brings both compassion and clinical excellence to every aspect of her work.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys socialising with family and friends, walking and travelling around the world to explore new places and cultures.
