Julie Jones is the MSG's Lead Nurse, responsible for leading and supporting the outpatient nursing team in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Julie trained at Guy's Hospital in London and spent more than 10 years working in the NHS across surgical nursing, cardiothoracic critical care and emergency care before returning to Guernsey. Throughout her career, she has held a number of senior clinical, leadership and education roles, including Matron for Critical Care and Surgical Services, Practice Development Lead for the Emergency Department and lecturer for local nursing students.
She is passionate about patient advocacy and believes nursing is a vocation built on supporting people through some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. She takes particular pride in working alongside a dedicated nursing team to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.
Outside work, Julie enjoys walking Guernsey's cliff paths, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
