Steve joined the MSG in 2024. Having completed his training in London, he spent almost 30 years working for the NHS in Portsmouth before coming to the island.
During his time in the UK, Steve supported patients fitted with bone-anchored hearing aids - surgically implanted devices designed to treat certain types of hearing loss. These devices work by bypassing the outer and middle ear and transmitting sound vibrations directly through the skull bone to the inner ear (cochlea).
Steve chose to specialise in audiology as he enjoys working with a range of different patients and values time spent with them, listening to their concerns and ultimately improving their hearing and quality of life.
Outside of work he enjoys cycling, swimming, football, and spending time with his family.
