For the second year, the Medical Specialist Group has supported Guernsey Dynamics FC, this time funding new travel tops to help the team look unified as they prepare for this year’s George Best Community Cup in Belfast during June.

Guernsey Dynamics FC is the island’s disability football team, providing opportunities for people with learning or physical disabilities to take part in the sport and compete in a supportive team environment.

The new travel tops, featuring both the MSG and Dynamics Football logos, will be worn alongside the team’s tracksuits when travelling to the tournament, helping bring the squad together and represent Guernsey with pride.

Last year, MSG supported the team’s trip to the George Best Community Cup in Belfast, where Guernsey Dynamics finished runners-up in their division after narrowly losing 1-0 in the final.

Rose Corbet, Head of Guernsey Dynamics FC, said: “Having matching travel kit makes a big difference for the team. It helps everyone feel a part of the squad and we’ll look much smarter when we travel. We’re incredibly grateful to MSG for supporting us again this year as our squad of eight prepare to head back to Belfast.”

Dr Michelle Le Cheminant, Chairperson at MSG, said: “We’re proud to support local initiatives like this; Guernsey Dynamics does fantastic work providing opportunities for players to enjoy football in a supportive and inclusive environment. Good luck to the team for their tournament in Belfast this summer!”

MSG supports a range of community initiatives that promote wellbeing and inclusivity.
