Mr Chris Joslin studied medicine at the University of Bristol, graduating in 1995.
Post-graduate training included teaching anatomy at the University of Leicester before basic surgical training in the Wessex region. He spent a year undertaking research into bone healing before entering orthopaedic higher surgical training on the South-West rotation.
The final two years of that training largely concentrated on surgery of the shoulder and upper limb, after which he undertook a foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He gained his Certificate of Completion of Training in 2007 and is on the GMC specialist register.
Mr Joslin performs a variety of foot and ankle surgery, including treatment of bunions and flat feet, as well as arthroscopic ankle surgery and total ankle replacement. He also undertakes upper limb surgery, such as shoulder replacement and arthroscopy, and hip and knee replacements. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and British Foot and Ankle Society.
