Mr Kairsingh joined the MSG in 2006; he is a fully trained Vascular/General Surgeon, having completed specialist training in the North West of England.
Miss Makin is a General Surgeon with a special interest in Coloproctology (disorders of the large bowel). She graduated from the University of Wales and during her surgical training worked in hospitals across the UK.
Mr Joslin studied medicine at the University of Bristol, graduating in 1995.
Post-graduate training included teaching anatomy at the University of Leicester before Basic Surgical Training in the Wessex region. He spent a year undertaking research into bone healing prior to entering Orthopaedic Higher Surgical Training on the South-West rotation.
Mr Beaumont is one of two Otolaryngologists-Head and Neck Surgeons (ENT Surgeons) at the Medical Specialist Group and joined us in 1998.
Until mid-2014 Bailiwick patients with Age-related Macular Degeneration (ARMD) had to travel to Southampton for treatment, but a joint-initiative between the Medical Specialist Group and the HSSD then enabled this condition to be treated in Guernsey.
Mr Van den Bossche joined the MSG in 2000; he completed his undergraduate medical training at the Catholic University Leuven in Belgium and trained as a General Surgeon at the same University, completed his specialist surgical training in 1995.
Mr Cole has been a Consultant Urologist at The Medical Specialist Group since May 2012.
He worked in Nottingham for the previous nine years, where he was Head of Department at the Nottingham Urology Centre, Lead Cancer Clinician of the Urology Department and Lead Cancer Clinician of Nottingham University Hospitals Trust.
Mr Vowles joined the Medical Specialist Group in 1999. He trained as a doctor at Guy’s Medical School in London and following graduation in 1989, he undertook a period of general surgical training at a number of London hospitals before deciding to specialise in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery.
Mr Kiff joined the MSG in 2010. He graduated from the University of Manchester and then undertook surgical training in Manchester and Liverpool. Prior to relocating in Guernsey, he was a Consultant General Surgeon at St Helens & Knowsley NHS Trust in NW England.
Miss Dorey joined the MSG in 2000.
She was born in Guernsey and trained as a doctor at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London, gaining a BSc in Anatomy in 1985 and MBBS in 1988.
One of the most recent additions to the team of surgeons at the MSG is Mr Thomas Fysh, who is a welcome addition to the team at the Bulstrode Breast Unit.
Mr Watson is a consultant ophthalmologist, who joined the Medical Specialist Group in June 2016.
